Sr. QA Specialist

JOB SUMMARY:

Ensures plant systems are compliant with applicable regulations. Oversees and coordinates daily process and activities of QA Specialists to assure objectives are met. Coordinate plant Quality training activities as well as departmental training for QA Specialist. Assist departments in corrective actions and quality improvement initiatives. This position is responsible for all quality related aspects of the IT organization. Including, but not limited to the review and approval of documentation for the GXP IT systems and ensuring compliance with Federal, State and internal Quality systems. Responsible for actively identifying and promoting continuous improvement initiatives in the Quality department and cross-functionally with the IT organization. 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

-Qualified candidates must have minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field. 

-Must have 6+ years of QA and/or related experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry with progressively increasing responsibility. 

-Must have 2+ years supervisory experience.
